ATC Index with DDDs

The WHO Collaborating Centre for Drug Statistics Methodology publishes a new issue of the complete ATC Index with DDDs annually. The complete printed version of the ATC Index consists of one list sorted according to ATC codes, including all the established ATC codes and DDDs for plain substances, and one list alphabetically sorted according to non-proprietary drug names, including all ATC 5th levels. The Index can be ordered as paper copy or electronic versions (English and Spanish versions) Order form.

Access to a searchable version of the ATC Index with DDDs 2016 (including text from the Guidelines) is available free of charge on this website (ATC/DDD Index 2017).

Lists of the annual ATC/DDD alterations are distributed in November/December each year free of charge to the users of the ATC/DDD system according to a mailing list. Please contact the Centre if you want to receive this information ().
